The Summerhill Community Garden, located at 440 Connally Street, invites gardeners to come together to make a space for growing, learning, and gathering as friends and neighbors.

We're thrilled to announce that registration for our garden's new beds, filled with rich, organic soil, is now officially open.
A $50 annual membership includes:
- An individual 8'x4'x2' garden plot filled with nutrient-rich soil and compost
- Basic gardening tools
- Water and a shared garden hose
- Access to a collective, organic composting area
- Access to all garden events and workshops

We successfully cleared the garden of debris, cleaned up the surrounding area, and together imagined possibilities for everything from new plots and composting to gathering areas! We always welcome any engagement from our community!

About Us
The Summerhill Community Garden at 440 Connally Street dates back to 2015 and has taken different forms over the years. Beginning in January 2024, the SNDC and the Summerhill Community Garden steering committee, with invaluable support from our friends and neighbors, have committed to making plans and actions that create a welcoming, community-run space for growing healthy food, learning, and sharing abundance.
